Do you think a Taylor Spatial Frame is beneficial to the future for patients going through the process?
In my opinion, I think the TSF is beneficial to the patient’s future. From a personal experience, the external frame has made a positive impact. I’m not going to lie and say there have been no rough patches to the procedure because there were. I have been hospitalized twice and I have received minor surgery to remove a pin and have it replaced with a wire. Although it was tough at the time, it was worth it. I was hospitalized and received the surgery due to an infection. The infection was causing minor pain and preventing me from fully weight baring. Luckily, I passed that and am now nearly fully weight baring. The surgery never set my progress back, just helped me move forward. I notice the lengthening in my leg which also helped straighten my spine (my doctors said that if my spine wasn’t straightened eventually, it would lead to spine surgery). Just like any patients who have received a TSF, I am counting down the days until I get it off. Not because I don’t like having it but because I can’t wait to have even and stronger legs in the near future. That was my opinion to whether a Taylor Spatial Frame will be beneficial to patients future, so now I want to know yours. Would you agree, disagree or be undecided? Tell me what your opinion is to my question by leaving a comment. Thank you 🙂
